The American Civil Liberties Union is at it again. Now they have filed suit against two Tennessee schools that block access to lesbian, homosexual, bisexual and transgendered (LGBT) websites. The suit is against Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools and Knox County Schools.
The schools attempted to remain neutral in the debate by also blocking the websites of organizations against the homosexual lifestyle. It simply is not good enough for the ACLU that schools remain neutral. Fore the ACLU to be happy the schools must be pro-homosexual lifestyle.
Mat Staver of the Liberty Counsel argues the public school is not the place to debate this lifestyle. “These websites, whether pro or con, should not be in public schools. Public schools are not the place to have this debate,” he contends. “This is an environment to educate and train children, but not to indoctrinate them in homosexuality.”
Staver believes the ACLU is using the courts to try to force the homosexual agenda on the students. “This is the essence of the ACLU.
